AHC requirements
Hopefully this page holds explanation to AHC issuing process. However if you have any questions please contact me.
Firstly
AHC is required to travel to EU, Norway and Switzerland.
Can be issued only to animals that are microchipped, vaccinated for rabies at least 3 weeks before issuing certificate and are minimum 15 weeks old.
AHC can be issued to maximum five pets. If you have more pets than five, you need different type of document.
Secondly
When you are requesting your certificate you need to know the date of your travel and your country of entry into EU. AHC can be issued maximum 10 days before your journey.
Thirdly
Book your slot and send me an email with scanned proof of rabies vaccination, that contains of your details and your pet details including microchip number.
The person who travels with the pet should also appear on the proof of vaccination.
Fourthly
If all the requirements are met, I will start to prepare your AHC. When it's ready I will need to meet your pet to scan his/her microchip. Next I will ask you to sign the paperwork and you are ready to go .
Clinical exam is not necessary for AHC.
